to contribute to the creation of a
new Air Force Vision Statement.
Director General Strategy and
Planning --Air Force AIRCDRE
Mike Bennett said the survey was
an important tool in "creating a
fresh Air Force Vision that has as
much meaning for a new recruit as
it does for the Senior Leadership
"We need to know what inspires
our men and women, and what
motivates them to be part of one of
the best Air Forces in the world,"
AIRCDRE Bennett said.
"Our new Vision Statement will
advance us to the year 2020 with
the conviction that vital roles played
by our uniformed and civilian mem-
bers are being shaped by a sense
of common purpose and common
"As we embark on significant
reform, it is crucial that we main-
tain a collective approach, and our
Vision Statement will be the over-
arching inspiration for us all," he
said.To contribute to the forma-
tion of the new Air Force Vision
Statement, all you have to do is
enter into your browser the follow-
ing link and follow the prompts:
You will be asked what inspires
you, and the kinds of things that
will make you proud to belong to
the Air Force of the future.
The survey will take only five
to 10 minutes to complete, and you
can contribute as many times as you
like until November 16. After this
date, the Senior Leadership Team
will begin using the responses to
form the new Vision Statement.
